About the event

Is Mörkö-Marko in the Lions' final squad? Will Sweden get any real NHL superstars for the tournament? Who will get the honour of raising the coveted Hokipong cup to the straights with We are the Champions playing in the background? 🏆

In celebration of the Hockey World Cup, Pongstat is proud to host the Hokipong Beer Pong Tournament on Friday 26th of May 2023 starting from 17.30 in the spectacular surroundings of Draft Sports Bar. The tournament is scheduled for the midway point of the games (between the quarter-finals and semi-finals), so hopefully the raging speculation about the Lions' potential gold celebrations can be analysed by then 🦁 The Hokipong tournament is also a great opportunity for the most passionate Lions fans to prepare for the relentless hornet's nest of medal games, as Beer Pong is known to test the players' stress tolerance and iron-fisted nerve control in the hardest possible way😎

The first rounds of the tournament will start at 17:30, and will include the first and second rounds. The tournament has 24 seats for 24 teams, and tournament tickets cost €10 per player, so €20 per team. Registration for the tournament will take place via the Pongstat website and can already be done at this moment! 🤪There's no need to go hungry or thirsty during the tournament either, as players can enjoy a -20% discount on food and drinks🤑🍻And of course, every team that medals in the tournament will be rewarded with Draft Bar gift cards:

🥇: 100€ gift card.

🥈: €50 gift card

🥉: €20 gift card

It is also possible to participate in the tournament on a alcohol free policy, as the cups are filled with water and if hit, the cup is moved aside from the game formation. Players are therefore free to maintain their own hydration levels during the tournament. For more information on the rules of the game, please visit

So gather up your own pair of hard-packed, hard-marinated, Saravon Pekka and come and find out whose hand doesn't shake in tight spots😎 The Pongstat team (or zebras in hockey jargon) will also be on hand to make sure that no puck thrown into the stands or blocking penalty is missed! So sign up and soon you'll be ringing Den glider in! 😍🏆

Registration is done on the Pongstat website at:
